L'aventure de ce jardin
de seulement 6 ares a débuté en 1993 dans un petit village du Hainaut, à quelques kilomètres de Lille. Venant de la ville, je n'avais aucune idée du style de jardin que je voulais créer. La
piscine était déjà présente mais côté plantes, seuls quelques conifères et lauriers cerise donnaient un peu de verdure. Je me suis donc documentée à la bibliothèque et j'ai été très impressionnée
par des ouvrages sur Gertrude Jekyll, Christopher Lloyd et même l'art de jardiner selon Martha Stewart (très éclectique tout ça !). Le gros coup de coeur fut pour les Roses Anglaises de
David Austin. Puis la révélation, ce fut la série "Paradise Gardens" à la BBC par Geoff Hamilton : le jardin d'un couple de personnes agées respirait le bonheur et la sérénité.
La pergola fut très vite construite et la glycine installée.
La base des massifs, c'est bien sûr les rosiers (183 au dernier recensement) associés à de nombreux géraniums et autres plantes vivaces. C'est un jardin essentiellement estival.

Conditions

I centralize all the participants on a page on my blog.
I update the list every day from 1st to 22nd January.
How to participate ?
To try to win the seeds of a participant, you just have to leave a comment under the post or article.
Leave a comment on a blog, anyone can do it but, to leave a com on a Facebook article, you have to be friend with that person. If you do not count amoung your friends, you have to apply it as a message by adding "Seeds of Love".
In the comment, you must leave you e-mail address (to contact you and ask for your postal address if you are lucky) and the number I'll get you assigned (to prove that you are participating).
Win
The one who offers seeds, chooses the number of winners (minimum 3).
It can be chosen at random (by lottery) or deliberately (because you appreciate the comment, for example.)
The draw will take place on 23rd January. Winners will be notified by mail and posted on your blog or FB article at the latest 24th January.
Seeds should absolutely be sent before 1st February !
FAQ
May we just participate without offering seeds ?
No, you must prove your participation indicating in the comment, the number that I'll have given to you.
Does each participant win a group of different seeds or just one sort ?
He wins some seeds from each sort that are proposed unless he mentioned he just wanted some particular seeds.
How to create an article on Facebook ?
For the very beginners :
Look on the left, click on "applications", then on "articles".
Up and right, on "write an article".
Insert your photos (look at "download your photos" and chose them in "files").
Don't forget to record before you leave (down on the right).
Then tell me your article is ready and I'll add it to the list of participants.
